Chiron Rising started as the Swan magazine in the 1980s and was a magazine for the gay mature community.
You can compare it as the playboy among gay mature men magazines.
It contained profiles and photographies of older men and their admirers, also novels, fictions, artwork and articles about gay life.
Today it is a historical witness of the gay young/old/mature community from the pre internet era until the beginning of the digital century in the early 2000s.
